BELvue museum:Families

BELvue for families

Looking for a fun outing for the whole family? At the BELvue museum, there is plenty to enjoy for young and old. Choose from our exciting game tours that guide children aged 3 to 12 through the museum in a playful way, and discover our permanent exhibition about Belgium and its history together.

Whether the children become ministers during the time of their visit, or heroes or heroines, search for hidden objects through a tactile trail, or travel across Belgium with the explorer Zeno, a fun and playful experience is always guaranteed!

Practical information

  • Our game trails are always available at the reception desk. Ask for the trail that is suitable for your child’s age. The game trails, just like the museum, are available in several languages (NL–FR–DE–EN).
  • Children up to 18 years old enjoy free admission. The game trails cost €1 per child. Adults must accompany the children during the visit and purchase a regular admission ticket. You can find the admission prices here.
  • Bringing babies or toddlers? No problem! You can leave your stroller at the reception or take it with you into the museum: the elevator provides access to the entire museum. All restrooms, including those on the upper floors, are equipped with a changing table.
  • The museum is also ideally located: in the heart of Brussels, easily accessible by public transport and right next to the Brussels Park. Before or after your visit, you can relax, run, or explore the playground in the middle of the park.

Celebrating your birthday at the BELvue museum? That’s possible!

BELvue: part of a big family

BELvue works closely with its partners to make the museum even more accessible to families. We collaborate with organisations such as Gezinsbond, Ligue des familles, Uit met Vlieg en Marmaille&Co.

The museum has also been awarded the blue sticker by museumpassmusées, meaning it has been approved for and by children.

Do you have a museum pass? Don't forget to fill in the survey after your visit and let us know how your family enjoyed the experience.
