During this game tour, your pupils will pretend to be government ministers at the museum. After putting on their ties, the children will set off on an adventure around the museum and have fun discovering the various ministerial duties: thinking about how best to help people, making sure there's enough money and even practising speaking the three national languages. Pupils will also get to use their own ‘official’ signature and earn a medal for every mission completed! Has everyone ticked off everything on their to-do list? Then head to reception to collect a little reward!
This is a self-guided tour of the permanent exhibition, without a guide or museum staff member.
At reception, you'll be given the materials for your class: one worksheet per pupil and the guide for the teacher or the accompanying adult.
Learning goals: To find out more about Belgium and its history, understand the basics of democracy and learn about active citizenship.
