This prestigious building was severely damaged by fire in 1731 and it is beneath the place royal that you will discover its remains, the archaeological site of the Coudenberg.
The BELvue museum lets you discover Belgium and its history through seven social themes and a gallery of over 200 “Belgian” objects. The museum's magnificent setting is a former 18th century luxury hotel that has recently been beautifully renovated and is itself steeped in history. it offers the visitors an exceptional view of the royal palace and its gardens.
