Museum Night Fever, the famous night of Brussels museums, will take place on 19 October between 7pm and 1am. For one evening, young artists and ensembles will reinvent the museum collection. At BELvue, you will be able to discover what freedom is all about with an evening 100% made in Belgium!
In the BELvue museum blows a wind of freedom and revolution! Theater company Cie l'Esperluette reinvents the iconic opera of the Belgian revolution: La Muette de Portici, the works of visual artist Ôdewa come to life during her painting performances, and the Capilotractées question our limits in their breathtaking hair hanging show. Aperohit programs a true musical experience: go nuts on the dance floor during their DJ sets or Hip Hop, R&B and Pop concerts. Not tasted enough of Belgium by then? Finish the night with a typically Belgian drink at the bar.
(Re)discover the BELvue museum's permanent exhibition. Seven thematic galleries give us the keys to a deeper understanding of today's Belgium. In the galleries, more than 200 objects tell us about the country from different perspectives. A striking display of belgitude!
Non-stop from 7pm to 1am
By Compagnie de l’Esperluette
La Muette (the mute girl) dances under the stars. Painfully and gracefully. Brussels sees her as oppressed and rebellious. Her presence instills hope and resistance in those who cross her path. At the BELvue, this contemporary version of La Muette de Portici remains a symbol of freedom.
In the museum galleries. Non-stop from 7pm to 1am.

By Les Capilotractées
Defy gravity and pain with Nur and Viola, two circus artists suspended in the air by their hair. Their show is surprising, trashy, and poetic all at once, and invites you to question your own limits, your freedom and today's sometimes surreal and restrictive society.
Rooms on the ground floor. Non-stop from 7pm to 12.30am. Break between 10pm and 10.30pm.
By Ôdewa
Discover the unique performance of Ôdewa, a multidisciplinary visual artist. Combining photography and painting, she creates her own visual and conceptual language. Ôdewa’s models gradually become living canvases while she is painting on their bodies. The promise of an odyssey that sweeps aside the traditional representation of Art Nouveau and Art Congo.
Borgendael lounge. Non-stop from 7pm to 12.45am, with a break between 8.45pm and 9.30pm.
In the garden of the BELvue Museum, Brasserie {C} is mouthwatering to serve you their favorite artisanal specialties. From softs to beers, this brewery from Liège takes pride that every single drink on its menu is produced and bottled in Belgium! Have you never tried a fruity Sowa Bissap or a strong Curtius before? Don’t wait any longer!
